Good Times Bad Friends

  • Good Times Bad Friends

With the winter season already being halfway done, nights have definitely gotten colder and the hours of sunlight in a day have gotten shorter. Normally, winter weather is quite bearable in Hawaii, but now that I’m in college in California, I now understand the art of layering and having a whole other wardrobe just for the wintertime. I’ve been dying to cop a nice staple windbreaker, and Zumiez selections did not disappoint. This windbreaker was love at first sight; the type of love that makes you want to rip the tags off & wear it the second you buy it, and that’s exactly what I did.

Also, in other news, as of January 12, 2017, my Instagram page reached 1000 followers!! Yay!! ^^ Now that may not seem like a big deal to some of you but to me, it honestly means the world. When I first started to really get into fashion and made the decision to delete my first ever Instagram and start over with a new account, it was a very bittersweet moment for me. I know remaking an account really isn’t that big of a deal and Instagram is just seen as another fun social media platform, but to me, it was. I always told myself that if I ever did try to pursue my dream of fashion, that I’d do it with my first original account that I had made back in my freshmen year of high school, so that I’d be able to look back and see how much I’ve grown and changed since then; like a little visual diary. I stuck with that motto for 4 years, but once I graduated high school, some of the memories that I once held dear to my heart, didn’t seem to be as big of a part of my life anymore. Things change, people change. And in order to move forward, I wanted to let go of the past and start with a clean slate, even if it meant deleting my og 4 year old account. Fast forward to about 6 months later, and I’m feeling more content than ever as to the direction my account’s taking. I’ll be honest with you, it is definitely scary putting yourself out there and posting more “serious” and posed pictures, but it also makes it so much more rewarding to see that people are enjoying your content and liking what you post. I know I was a extra cheesy on this post, but I just wanted to say a lil thank you to those who are supporting me. It makes me happy to know that there’s others who share the same love for fashion as much as I do, and hopefully we’ll continue to go forward from here ^^

Your windbreaker looks great. Watch out for the shoes they could be dangerous. Ha. Looking nice and sassy. Beautiful. Keep up the good work.
