Pink Paradise

Ah summer, where did the time go?

Okay okay before you say anything, I know I know, it’s been a minute since I’ve last blogged. And it’s not that I didn’t want to or anything, it’s just that I’ve been so busy these past couple of weeks; like I barely have time to even do errands, busy. Summer is always the perfect time to work because there aren’t any other obligations to worry about, and as of lately I’ve been getting scheduled close to full-time hours. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love my work and the environment that I’m in, it just leaves very little time in between to blog and shoot new content; hence my lack of posts on here and on social media. But luckily I was able to shoot on a couple of my days off so stay tuned for some new posts headed this way!

Off shoulder tops are always so versatile, with an elegant yet playful look to them so you really can’t go wrong with one of these. But because these tops are one of those pieces that looks good regardless of how you style it, I like to pay particular attention to the pattern and colorway since they tend to be the center of attention in an outfit. They have to grab my attention the second I lay my eyes on it, and this one definitely did that. I’ll be honest, I’m normally not a huge fan of pink, but the shade of this top paired with the really pretty floral pattern had me think otherwise (not to mention that the little bows at the end of each shoulder add a nice little touch too).

Whenever I wear off the shoulder tops, I always like to pair it with a more fitted bottom to compensate for the figure that you kind of lose up top in the flowy material. This time I wanted to pair it with a mini skirt to give off a more sultry look and I actually really liked how the skirt fit because of how flattering the curves were. While sticking to the floral/”blackpink” colorway, (kudos to you if you get that reference hehe) I added in these adorable peep toe denim sandals that had rose patches on it along with a pair of pink sunnies to match. I know patches have been trendy lately, but I’ve been holding back, waiting to find a pair of shoes that I really like, and I’m really glad I did.
